The University of Georgia Hockey Club is a member of the Collegiate Hockey Federation, competing in the College Hockey South Conference. The UGA Ice Dogs home ice is the Classic Center Arena in Athens, Georgia. As a leader in the growth of collegiate hockey in the South, the University of Georgia continues to put forth competitive hockey teams while now boasting as one of the premier academic institutions in the country, and some of the most difficult admissions standards in the region. Excellence in the classroom is emphasized in concert with excellence on the ice.
