Anita Giabardo

Anita Giabardo is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Georgia, focusing on developing poplar as a multipurpose crop species for biomaterials and bioenergy production as part of a PhD in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Genomics. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Missaoui lab specializing in forage breeding, and an internship at SCEA DAVID-LECOMTE CHATEAU DE PASSAVANT. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Agriculture and a Master of Science in Crop and Soil Sciences from The University of Georgia, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Enology Science and Technology from Università degli Studi di Padova. Additional academic experiences include an Erasmus program in International Wine Business and various specialized courses in food marketing and integrated pest management.
