Bob Currey

Bob Currey has an extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Bob currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at The University of Georgia since October 2021. Prior to that, Bob was the owner of CDR Solutions, LLC from January 2020 to September 2021.

Their previous roles include Managing Director positions at Delta Air Lines, where they were responsible for overseeing various aspects of the supply chain, including operations, corporate supply chain, fuel, and techops. Bob controlled multi-billion-dollar annual spend and led teams of sourcing professionals. Bob also held positions as Director, General Manager, Manager, and Strategic Sourcing Manager during their tenure at Delta.

Before joining Delta Air Lines, Bob worked as a Sourcing Analyst at Pratt & Whitney from June 1997 to July 1998. Overall, Bob Currey has a solid background in procurement and supply chain management, with extensive experience in leading teams and managing large-scale spend.

Bob Currey obtained a BSEd in Math Education from The University of Georgia from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, they attended the United States Air Force Academy, although their degree and field of study at that time are unknown.
