Cassie Ann Kiggen's work experience starts in 2013 as a Solicitor General's Assistant at the Solicitor General's Office Athens Clarke County. In 2013, they also worked as an Intern for Congressman Rob Woodall at the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2014, they worked as a Public Policy Fellow at Marlowe and Company, LLC and also as a Digital Communications staff member at Free the Slaves. From 2013 to 2014, they held two roles at American University, first as an International Recruitment Assistant and later as the VP of Management for the Graduate School Council. In 2015 and 2016, they worked as a Marketing and Communications Associate at EMPEA and as a Senior Manager for Strategy and Communications at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, they became an Officer of Communications at the United Nations Foundation and then moved on to become the Director of Communications at the National Venture Capital Association. Currently, in 2021, they are the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at The University of Georgia's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), responsible for leading and overseeing the Office of Marketing & Communications and developing strategic communication plans for CAES.
Cassie Ann Kiggen holds a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Georgia, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Cassie Ann also pursued a Master's degree in International Communication with a focus on Strategic Communication and Intercultural Leadership from American University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they briefly attended the University of Oxford in 2013, where they focused on International Relations and Affairs.
