Kimberly Thomas

Kimberly Thomas has extensive experience in facilities management and organizational development, currently serving as the Special Projects Advisor to the AVP at The University of Georgia since April 2020. In this role, Kimberly is responsible for the development and implementation of employment programs, professional development initiatives, student employee selection, and division-wide communications outreach. Prior to this, Kimberly held the position of Senior Director of Services in the Facilities Management Division, overseeing custodial operations, grounds, fleet operations, and sustainability efforts. Kimberly also worked as the Director of Facilities Management for the Work Management Department at the University of Georgia, ensuring timely completion of campus facilities work requests, and served as Executive Director for the Clarke County School District, managing facilities for a large school district. Early career experience includes serving as Assistant Director in the Services Department at the University of Georgia. Kimberly holds a Master of Public Administration degree from The University of Georgia.
