Parastoo Azadi

Parastoo Azadi serves as the Associate Director of the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center for Service and Training and the Executive Technical Director at the University of Georgia since September 2018. With a career at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center that began in May 1994, Parastoo oversees the Analytical Service and Training Laboratory and directs three federally-funded resource centers focused on glycomics and complex carbohydrates. Previous experience includes a position as Senior Scientist and Study Director at SGS, where responsibilities included structural characterization of proteins for the pharmaceutical industry. Parastoo holds a Ph.D. in Mass Spectrometry of Carbohydrates from Imperial College London and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of North London.
