Robby R.

Robby R. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Robby worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Goddard from October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the UGA Capstone Design Team Lead at The University of Georgia, where they led a project to develop a peanut processing system. At Enginuity Works, they gained experience as an Engineering Intern, designing products and collaborating with a team of engineers. Robby also worked at Pain Care Labs - M-Stim Pain Solutions as a Medical Device Inventor, where they developed the initial design for a therapy device. Robby also worked as a Research Intern at the same company. Additionally, Robby has experience as a Research Assistant and a Design Engineer at the University of Georgia and Celery Design Collaborative, respectively. Robby also has practical experience as a Farm Hand/Handyman at Front Field Farms. Furthermore, they have conducted research in the field of bioengineering at the Bioengineering Laboratory, focusing on stem cells and cell-based therapies. Lastly, Robby owned and operated their own lawn care company, East Athens Lawn Co., where they developed valuable skills in business management and customer service.

Robby R. attended Cedar Shoals High School, where they received a High School Diploma. Robby then pursued their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Studio Art (Sculpture) at The University of Georgia from 2018 to 2023. As part of their studies, they also participated in an Exchange Program at Politecnico di Torino in 2022.
