Sara Karlsson

Sara Karlsson currently serves as the Administrative Financial Director at Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant at The University of Georgia, a position held since October 2019. Prior to this role, Sara was the Administrative Manager/Fiscal Officer for the same organization from July 2018 to October 2019 and worked as Business Manager III and Business Manager at the University of Georgia from February 2007 to June 2018, where responsibilities included management roles for 4-H Rock Eagle and the Small Business Development Center. Sara is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Georgia Southern University, having previously earned a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the same institution and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Malardalens University, along with an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from the University of North Georgia.
