Shirley Allen

Shirley Allen is an experienced development professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Development for Public Service and Outreach at the University of Georgia since August 2019, with prior roles including Assistant Director and Engagement Officer, focusing on fostering lasting connections between alumni and the university. Previously, Allen worked at Synovus from May 2014 to July 2019 as a Lead Relationship Banker, achieving the 2017 Chairman's Circle of Excellence Award and responsible for account origination, customer engagement, and staff training. Allen also gained experience in various banking roles including Relationship Banker at Athens First Bank & Trust and Head Teller at SunTrust. Shirley Allen holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Georgia, earned between 2015 and 2018.
