Dr Aman Durrani FRCPsych is a Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde since March 2015, with responsibilities in the West of Scotland Mother & Baby Unit and a specialist community perinatal mental health team. Dr Durrani serves as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and a Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist with the Priory Group. Additionally, Dr Durrani holds multiple leadership roles within the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Scotland, including Vice Chair of the Perinatal Faculty Executive Committee and involvement in various national committees related to perinatal mental health. Prior experience includes a Consultant Psychiatrist role at NHS Lanarkshire and Higher Trainee positions in Birmingham focused on early intervention and perinatal mental health services. Dr Durrani's education includes an MB ChB from the University of Glasgow and an Advanced Diploma in Systemic Practice and Family Therapy from the University of Derby.
