Joris van der Horst

Joris van der Horst serves as the Lead of the Scottish EBUS and Bronchoscopy Training Program at NHS Scotland Academy since April 2023. With extensive experience as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Glasgow Royal Infirmary since October 2006, Joris van der Horst leads initiatives in lung cancer, bronchoscopy, and the West of Scotland Lung Cancer Managed Clinical Network. Additionally, Joris van der Horst holds the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. Educational qualifications include a State Exam in Medicine from The University of Göttingen, an FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the Royal College of Physicians.
