Brigit Toebes

Brigit Toebes is the scientific director at the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health. Brigit is also the Voorzitter at the Ministerie van VWS and the Vereniging voor Gezondheidsrecht. Additionally, Brigit serves as the co-chair of the Global Health Law Committee at the International Law Association and is a co-founder of the Groningen Centre for Health Law. With extensive experience in teaching and research, Brigit has lectured at Aberdeen University and currently holds a professorship in Health law at the University of Groningen. Toebes has also worked as a legislative advisor at the Netherlands Council of State and as a researcher at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut.
