Annamarie Benko

Annamarie Benko is an experienced alumni relations and fundraising professional with a strong background in higher education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engagement Services at the University of Guelph since October 2017, Annamarie previously held roles including Associate Director of Alumni Advancement and Acting Associate Director of the Annual Fund. Annamarie's career at the University of Guelph also includes positions as Alumni Advancement Manager for the College of Biological Science and the College of Physical and Engineering Science. Prior experience includes work as a Development Officer at Food Banks Canada and as a Conservation Volunteer Coordinator and Prospect Research Assistant at The Nature Conservancy of Canada. Annamarie holds a Master of Environmental Studies degree in Gender, Development, and Environment from York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth and Atmospheric Science from the University of Guelph.
