Jillian Dempsey

Jillian Dempsey is a finance and operations professional currently serving as a Finance and Operations Clerk at the University of Guelph since January 2024. With extensive experience in coaching, Jillian has been a Grief and Loss Coach since January 2020, providing support to individuals navigating various forms of loss. Previous roles include serving as a Verification & Monitoring Officer for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, and as a Finance and HR Manager at SOSCIP, where financial management and government funding reporting were key responsibilities. Additional experience spans project coordination at the University of Toronto, recruitment logistics at the Rotman School of Management, and teaching in South Korea. Jillian holds a B.A. Hon. in Art History and Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto.
