Stephen Willem

Stephen Willem is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the University of Guelph since June 2015, where primary responsibilities include leading the information security strategy and overseeing the Security Operations Centre and identity and access management teams. Before this role, Stephen implemented a comprehensive multi-year information security roadmap as the Manager of Information Security. Prior to the University of Guelph, Stephen held positions at BlackBerry and Nortel Networks, leading global cyber security operations, managing security threats, and providing engineering expertise in network security. Stephen holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University.
