Andreas Lange

Professor Of Economics at University of Hamburg

Andreas Lange is a Professor of Economics at Universität Hamburg since 2010 and currently serves as Co-editor-in-chief for the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management at Elsevier since 2019. Additionally, Lange has been a Research Associate at ZEW – Leibniz-Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung since 2006 and held the position of Visiting Research Professor at the University of Gothenburg from 2016 to 2019. Previous academic roles include Assistant Professor of Economics and Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Maryland from 2003 to 2010, and Senior Researcher at ZEW from 2000 to 2003. Lange earned a Dr. rer. pol. in Environmental Economics from Heidelberg University (1997-2000) and a Diplom in Wirtschaftsmathematik from Bielefeld University (1991-1997).
