Jan Engel

Jan Engel is an External PhD Student at the University of Hamburg since September 2023, focusing on industrial and organizational psychology with a research emphasis on negotiations, alongside a lecturing assignment. In addition, Jan has been an Analyst and Assistant to Management at Egger Philips since April 2018. Previous experience includes a Research Intern position at the University of Hamburg from January to April 2023, a Management Internship at Sasol in March 2017, and a Student Internship at Fa. AC Korro-Service in early 2014. Jan holds a Master of Science in Business Psychology from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, obtained in 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg, completed in 2020. Jan's educational background also includes an Abitur in Biology from Gymnasium Brunsbüttel, earned in 2016.
