Marie Vogel

Marie Vogel is currently a PhD student at Universität Hamburg, focusing on the phenotypic plasticity and epigenetics of Ostreococcus spp. algae. With relevant experience at the Institute of Marine Ecosystem and Fishery Science, Marie has served as a Student Assistant, contributing to projects involving biometrical data collection and long-term culture maintenance of Ostreococcus spp. Additionally, Marie has held roles as Assistant Video Manager and Head of Video Management with Hamburg Sea Devils, while also gaining curatorial experience through an internship at Tierpark Hagenbeck. Marie's educational background includes a Master of Science in Meereswissenschaften and a Bachelor of Science in Biologie from the University of Hamburg, along with an Open Water Diver certification from OK Diving Malta.
