Aaron Ausmus

Aaron Ausmus is an experienced professional in public safety and law enforcement, currently serving as an Investigator for Alvin ISD and the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office while also teaching as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at both the University of Houston-Downtown and Brazosport College. Previously, Aaron held the position of Chief of Police for the City of Angleton and served as the Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police for the Dalworthington Gardens Department of Public Safety, managing various services and implementing strategic policies. With a career foundation at the Galveston Police Department where Aaron progressed through multiple ranks and responsibilities, Aaron holds a Master's of Science in Criminal Justice Leadership from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown, complemented by an Associate of Science in Emergency Medical Technology from San Jacinto College.
