Biresh Kumar Joardar is an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston since September 2022, previously serving as a Computing Innovation Fellow (Postdoc) at Duke University from August 2020 to September 2022, where collaboration with Prof. Krishnendu Chakrabarty focused on machine learning-based reliable hardware design methodologies. Prior to that, Biresh was a Research Assistant at Washington State University from August 2016 to August 2020, engaging in research on heterogeneous manycore architectures, near-memory computing, NoC designs, and deep learning. Biresh also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Cadence Design Systems during the summer of 2019, developing machine learning methodologies for faster netlist optimization. Biresh holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jadavpur University.
