Bobby Champagne

Bobby Champagne is a seasoned basketball operations professional currently serving as the Director of Basketball Operations at the University of Houston since October 2021. With extensive experience in coaching and program management, Bobby previously held the role of Agency Owner at Allstate and Head Coach at the University of North Alabama, where responsibilities included recruiting qualified student-athletes and overseeing all aspects of the men’s basketball program from April 2003 to March 2018. Prior to that, Bobby held assistant coaching positions at several universities, including the University of Texas at El Paso and Georgia State University, focusing on recruitment, game preparation, and academic monitoring of student-athletes. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of South Alabama and a Master’s degree in Professional Studies from the University of North Alabama.
