Chanelle Mack

Chanelle Mack is an accomplished legal and engineering professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law, compliance, and business process analysis. Currently serving as Director of Licensing at the University of Houston since November 2021, Chanelle has also held positions as Assistant Director of Licensing and Program Director of Contract Compliance. Chanelle's legal career includes roles as an Attorney at Attorney & Counselor at Law, an Intellectual Property Associate at Chamberlain Hrdlicka, and a Patent Attorney at Buskop Law Group, where over 30 patent applications were drafted and more than 50 responses to office actions were prepared. Previous experience includes working as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO and as an Engineer at Ingalls Shipbuilding. Chanelle holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Houston Law Center, a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A&M College.
