Chris Matlock

Chris Matlock, CPA, CFA, currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Goodman Financial Corporation since July 2017, where responsibilities include developing investment strategies and leading investment research. Chris has extensive experience in portfolio management, having held the position of Director at Cougar Investment Fund, L.L.C., since July 2008, and co-founded Lookout Capital Management, LP, serving as Chairman and Chief Investment Officer until July 2017. Additional leadership roles include Director on the Board of Managers for Christian Community Service Center until December 2022 and various positions within Financial Executives International and Lighthouse Capital Management. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Houston and a BS in Accounting from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
