Courtney Sands

Courtney Sands, DVM, is a Clinical Veterinarian at the University of Houston since January 2021, bringing extensive experience in the veterinary field. Previously, Courtney served as a Clinical Veterinarian at Charles River Laboratories from August 2016 to January 2021 and completed a Veterinary Residency at both Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson/Bastrop between June 2014 and June 2016. Early career experience includes a role as an Animal Technician at the California National Primate Research Center from December 2002 to September 2007. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine obtained from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology from the University of California, Davis.
