Daniel P. O’Connor

Daniel P. O’Connor is the current Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Houston. Daniel has held this position since July 2007. Prior to their current role, O’Connor served as the Director of Joe W. King Orthopedic Institute, Inc. from January 2000 to July 2007. Daniel also spent three years as the Supervisor of the Rehabilitation Department at Texas Orthopedic Hospital from January 1994 to December 1997. O’Connor has dedicated their career to education and helping others, which is evident through their various roles within different organizations. Daniel is a highly respected individual within the University of Houston community and is loved by many students and faculty members.

Daniel P. O'Connor has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Houston, a Master of Science - MS in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University, and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Human Performance and Health Sciences from Rice University.
