Josh Kaisen

Josh Kaisen is the Director of Outreach and Education for the Human-Centered AI Institute at the University of Houston, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Kaisen served as a National award-winning Visiting Assistant Professor at St. Mary's College of Maryland from August 2021 to August 2023, excelling in mentorship and course design. Kaisen has extensive experience as a Professional Tutor with Wyzant, maintaining a top 0.01% rating from students, and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida, noted for exceptional teaching evaluations. Early career accomplishments include significant research and software development during graduate assistant roles at the University of Buffalo, with recognition in prestigious scientific collaborations. Kaisen holds a PhD in Economics from the University of South Florida, an MS in Physics from the University at Buffalo, and a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Ohio University. Research interests encompass Behavioral Economics, Consumer Behavior, and Labor Economics.
