Keith A. Butcher is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in higher education and K-12 administration. Currently serving as Clinical Associate Professor and Program Director for Principal Preparation at the University of Houston College of Education since August 2016, Butcher also holds the position of Program Director for the Masters in Administration and Supervision since August 2017. Prior roles include Superintendent at Nicholas County Schools and Fayette County Schools, as well as Executive Director for both the Regional Education Services Agency 1 and the West Virginia Department of Education. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Marshall University, a Master’s degree in Education Administration from West Virginia University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Concord University.
