Meimei Xu

Meimei Xu is a seasoned professional in instructional design and education, currently serving as a Sr. Instructional Designer and Research Scientist in Education at the University of Houston since February 2023. Concurrently, Meimei Xu holds a position as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Georgia, teaching a graduate-level course on emerging approaches in teaching, learning, and technology. Previous experience includes roles as an Instructor of Record and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia, where Meimei Xu focused on educational technology and instructional design. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia and extensive teaching experience in both K-12 and higher education—including managing K-12 Chinese language programs and leading instructional design teams—Meimei Xu brings a comprehensive background in developing and implementing innovative educational programs and curricula.
