Steve Mueller

Steve Mueller has extensive experience in advancement and business operations within academic healthcare and higher education institutions. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Business Operations at the University of Houston since July 2013, Steve has also held the position of Executive Director of Advancement Business Operations and Systems & Reporting, as well as Executive Director of Business Operations for University Advancement. Prior to this, Steve worked at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston from April 1997 to July 2013, where responsibilities included administrative oversight of patient care, education, and research operations as Vice Chair of Administration. Steve's earlier roles in the medical branch included Administrator for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Business Manager for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Houston, obtained in 1990.
