Cassie Webster Acma

Cassie Webster ACMA, CGMA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cassie is currently serving as the Head of Finance Business Partnering at the University of Hull, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, from January 2020 to June 2022, they worked as a Senior Commercial Accountant at KCOM.

Before joining KCOM, Cassie had an extensive tenure at Arco Ltd, where they held the role of Finance Business Partner from October 2016 to December 2019. During their time at Arco Ltd, Cassie partnered with various business functions, such as retail, inventory management, sales, and customer service. Cassie was responsible for providing commercial finance support, insight, and challenge, as well as producing regular reports, analysis, and forecasting for their assigned functions. Cassie also played a vital role in assessing the commercial viability of investment opportunities and acted as a key contact for financial queries.

Prior to their role at Arco Ltd, Cassie worked at Greencore, starting as a Trainee Management Accountant from June 2012 to February 2014. Cassie then progressed to roles such as Commercial Accountant, Financial Analyst, and Commercial Accountant (Maternity Cover), where they utilized their financial expertise to improve contribution, manage costing processes, liaise with other departments, and provide financial support/input to site projects.

Cassie's career began at Currys, where they worked as a Sales Assistant/Cashier from October 2005 to September 2010, excelling in customer interactions, achieving set targets, and reconciling cash tills. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Greengrocer at Duffills from June 2002 to July 2003, focusing on customer service and store management.

Throughout their career, Cassie has demonstrated their strong financial acumen, commercial awareness, and ability to partner with stakeholders to drive business strategies.

Cassie Webster ACMA, CGMA completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology from the University of Hull, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a program with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants at BPP University from 2011 to 2017.
