C. Scott Green

C. Scott Green has served as the president of the University of Idaho since June 2019.

Previously, they were the Global Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Hogan Lovells from January 2015 to June 2019. In this role, they had global operating and financial responsibility for a law firm with over $2 billion in revenue, over 5000 lawyers and staff, with a presence in more than 40 cities in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States.

Before Hogan Lovells, Mr. Green served as the Chief Executive Officer at Pepper Hamilton LLP from February 2012 to December 2015. During their tenure, they led strategy development and execution for Amlaw 100 firm with over $400 million in revenues. The firm experienced three consecutive years of record profits and revenues, culminating in recognition in the AmLaw 100 Global Firms for the first time.

Mr. Green began their career in 1994 as a V.P. at Goldman Sachs. C. then became Managing Director at ING Barings in 1997 and later Chief Administrative Officer at Weil Gotshal and Manges in 2002.

C. earned their J.D. from Harvard Law School and their B.A. from Dartmouth College.

C. Scott Green attended the University of Idaho where they earned their Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting. C. then attended Harvard Business School where they earned their Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General. C. Scott Green is also a Certified Public Accountant, having received their certification from The State University of New York.
