Derek Fultz

Derek Fultz is an experienced facilities and operations professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Facilities and Planning at Liberal Arts & Sciences at Illinois since May 2014. Concurrently, Derek holds the position of Director of Personnel and Operations in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a role held since June 2008. Additionally, Derek is the owner of Fultz Forge and Metalworks, a business specializing in custom iron and metalwork, established in May 2005. Derek obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Blackburn College between 1987 and 1991 and completed secondary education at Bethany High School from 1984 to 1987.
