Dilek Hakkani-Tur

Dilek Hakkani-Tur is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with extensive experience in the field of computational linguistics and dialogue systems. Previously, Dilek served as Senior Principal Scientist at Amazon and held key positions at Google as Conversation Modeling Technical Lead and Research Manager in the Deep Dialogue Research Group, as well as Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research's Deep Learning Technology Center. Additionally, Dilek contributed as a Senior Researcher at both the Conversational Systems Research Center and the Speech and Dialogue Research Group at Microsoft. Dilek Hakkani-Tur holds an MSc and PhD in Computer Science from Bilkent University and a BSc in Computer Science from Middle East Technical University.
