Kevin Spitz P.e.

Kevin Spitz P.E., C.M. is an accomplished professional in the aviation engineering field, currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer for Aviation Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign starting in January 2024. As the Chicago Aviation Department Manager at Mead & Hunt since July 2021, Kevin collaborates with teams across the Midwest to provide aviation services. Previously, Kevin held roles at CKL Engineers, LLC as Vice President of Aviation, and at Hanson Professional Services Inc. as Associate Aviation Discipline Manager, focusing on airport, railroad, and highway design and construction. Early career experience includes an internship at Walsh Construction. Kevin holds a Master of Business Administration with an Aviation Specialization from Lewis University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with a Project Management certificate from The University of Chicago Graham School.
