Marcin Warzecha is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Associate, Marcin focuses on post-hydrothermal aqueous phase treatment for agricultural applications through electrochemical oxidation, and contributes to research publications. In leadership roles within the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Marcin leads the ChemE Car team, implementing innovative designs for a chemically powered vehicle. Experience as a consultant with the Illinois Consulting Group involves solving engineering and business challenges while fostering client relationships. Previously, Marcin interned with John Deere in environmental engineering and is set to join Mars for R&D in summer 2024. Additional roles have included mentoring as a Resident Advisor and ensuring operational quality as a Facilities Assistant in campus recreation.
