Ramnatthan Alagappan

Ramnatthan Alagappan is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of computer science, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Alagappan has a robust background in research, having been a Postdoctoral Researcher in both the VMware research group and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Previous professional experience includes roles as a Software Development Engineer II and Software Development Engineer at Microsoft. Alagappan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained between 2013 and 2019, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology and Computer Science from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, completed from 2006 to 2010.
