Director Of Engagement And Curator Of Sangamon Experience at University of Illinois Springfield

Anne Moseley has a diverse work experience in the field of history and education. Anne most recently served as the Director of Engagement and Curator of Sangamon Experience at the University of Illinois Springfield. Prior to that, they worked as the Director and Assistant Director at the Lincoln Heritage Museum, where they were responsible for daily operations, community events, exhibit maintenance, and conservation. Anne also organized educational lectures and helped with the organization of a major event.

Anne Moseley also served as a Project Administrator at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, where they managed a summer institute for teachers and developed lesson plans. Anne has experience in archival work as an intern at the Illinois State Archives, where they classified and arranged records and researched organizational histories. Additionally, they worked as a Site Interpreter at the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, portraying a 19th-century character and creating educational activities for visitors.

Anne Moseley holds a Master's degree in History from the University of Illinois Springfield, which they obtained between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, which they completed between 2005 and 2009. Additionally, they received a certification as a Certified Interpretive Trainer from the National Association for Interpretation in December 2013.
