Chris Plouff currently serves as Provost and Executive Vice President at the University of Indianapolis, overseeing Academic Affairs and participating in the President's Cabinet since July 2022. Prior to this role, Chris held various positions at Grand Valley State University from 1997 to 2022, including Interim Provost and Executive Vice President, where leadership was provided over the Academic and Student Affairs division and participation on the Senior Leadership Team took place. Chris also served as Senior Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, focusing on strategic planning, assessment, and accreditation. Early in the career, positions included Interim Director and Assistant Director in the School of Engineering and roles in Career Services. Chris Plouff holds a Doctor of Education in Education Leadership from Eastern Michigan University and advanced degrees in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
