Kara Ooley has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various roles at different companies. Kara started their career in 2003 as an Employment Consultant at Easter Seals Crossroads. Kara then moved on to roles such as Human Resources Manager at Conrad Indianapolis / Hilton Worldwide, Human Resources Specialist at VMS BioMarketing, and Recruitment and Compensation Manager at Indiana Blood Center. Kara later held positions at Hilton, serving as the Director of Human Resources at Conrad Indianapolis / Hilton Worldwide and subsequently as the Area Director of Human Resources. Most recently, they have been working at the University of Indianapolis, first as a Human Resources Business Partner and now as the Human Resources Director.
Kara Ooley earned a HS Diploma from Center Grove High School in 1999. Kara went on to receive a BA in Speech Communications/Journalism from Miami University in 2003. In 2020, Kara obtained a Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI.
