Arwa Aburizik

Arwa Aburizik is an experienced medical professional currently serving as the Program Director at The Psychosocial Oncology Program within the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center since July 2019. Concurrently, Arwa holds positions as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Health Care, as well as Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa, all since July 2013. Prior experience includes an Internal Medicine Fellowship at VA Quality Scholars from July 2011 to July 2013. Arwa Aburizik earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2006 and completed a Master of Science in Public Health at the University of Iowa College of Public Health in 2013.
