Aparna Pathmanathan is currently a PhD student at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, beginning in August 2023. Previously, Aparna has served as a Senior Associate Scientist at Amicus Therapeutics since August 2019, specializing in in vitro pharmacology. Before that, a position as Associate Scientist was held at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for a brief period in mid-2019, focusing on the progression of myeloid malignancies. Earlier, a Research Associate role was undertaken at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, working primarily within the Hematology division on myeloid malignancies. Other experiences include a Graduate Student Researcher role at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, where research centered on pancreatic cancer. Aparna's early career included a position as a College Outreach Representative and an internship at the Central Institute of Scientific Research-CLRI. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Chennai jobs and careers.
