Patricia Espe-Pfeifer serves as the Director of Sport Psychology and Student Athlete Mental Health Services at the University of Iowa since June 2022. Previously, Patricia has held multiple positions at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, including Clinical Professor of Psychiatry & Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics, where Patricia contributed as a neuropsychologist and Director of Child Psychology Services within Child Psychiatry from October 2004 until August 2022. Patricia's educational background includes a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from Nova Southeastern University, a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Austin Peay State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from the University of Jamestown.
