Robert Green OBE is a distinguished academic currently serving as Professor and Director of Student Engagement at the University of Kent since July 2023. With an extensive background in forensic science education, Robert held the position of Vice President at The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences from November 2021 to October 2024 and previously directed undergraduate studies in forensic science at the University of Kent from January 2001 to March 2020. Robert was instrumental in establishing the BSc in Forensic Science and has contributed significantly to the field through roles such as Senior Lecturer at the University of Greenwich, Specialist for Robert's Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary, and Head of Science & Technology at the Home Office. Robert's academic qualifications include multiple degrees and distinctions from prestigious institutions, including a Master of Arts and Master of Science from Canterbury Christ Church University, as well as an M.Litt in Terrorism & Political Violence from the University of St Andrews.
