Erdem Bıyık

Erdem Bıyık is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, with a strong background in electrical engineering and artificial intelligence. Bıyık completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, where studies were undertaken from September 2017 to June 2022, also obtaining a Master of Science in the same field between September 2017 and April 2019. Prior to the current position, Bıyık served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Center for Human-Compatible AI and was a PhD Candidate at Stanford University. Additionally, Bıyık gained experience as a Research Intern at Google and worked as an Undergraduate Researcher and Intern at Umram.
