Bill Thro

Bill Thro is the current General Counsel at University of Kentucky. Bill has also served as General Counsel at Christopher Newport University from January 2000 to July 2004. In this role, they were responsible for all legal issues confronting the university and interacted with Board members, local officials, senior administrators, faculty, students, and the public. From September 2008 to October 2012, they served as University Counsel & Associate Professor of Constitutional Studies at Christopher Newport University. In this role, they taught four courses per academic year and focused their scholarly activities on constitutional law in education contexts.

Bill Thro went to the University of Virginia for their J.D., the University of Melbourne for their M.A. with Honours in Political Science, and Hanover College for their B.A. Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration and Political Science.
