Christian Brady

Interim Dean, College of Arts & Sciences at University of Kentucky

Christian Brady is an accomplished academic and administrator, currently serving as Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Prior to their current role, Christian served as an Advisor at Live It, Inc., from January 2016 to December 2016. In this role, they provided academic advice and guidance to students in the area of Ancient Hebrew and Jewish Literature.

From 2006 to 2017, Christian was an Associate Professor at Penn State University. During their time there, they also served as Director of the Honors Program from 1997 to 2006. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the program and was responsible for its continued success.

Christian's experience and expertise in Ancient Hebrew and Jewish Literature is vast and impressive. Christian has dedicated their career to helping students succeed academically and has been a driving force behind the success of both the Honors Program at Tulane University and the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Christian is a respected leader in higher education and is committed to ensuring that all students have access to quality education.

Christian Brady earned a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford in Ancient Hebrew and Jewish Literature, an MSt from the University of Oxford in Jewish Studies, a MA from Wheaton College in Biblical and Theological Studies, and a BA from Cornell University in Near Eastern Studies, Christian'story, and Religious Studies (minor). Christian also attended Damascus High School.

Christian Brady reports to Robert DiPaola, Acting Provost. Some of their coworkers include Laura Bryan - Acting Dean, Lewis Honors College, Stuart Horodner - Director, Art Museum, and Doug Way - Dean, Libraries.
