Andris Sarnovičs

Andris Sarnovics serves as the Head of Administration at the University of Latvia since August 2020. Prior to this role, Andris gained extensive experience at the BA School of Business and Finance from 2006 to 2020, where responsibilities included Professor, Rector, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Administrative Director. In the public sector, Andris held the position of State Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia from 2000 to 2003 and was the Director of the Informatics Department at The State Chancellery of Latvia from 1999 to 2000. Andris holds a Doctorate in Administration, as well as a Master’s in Public Administration, and a qualification in Physics from Latvijas Universitate.
