Dr. Jill Halstead-Rastrick PhD serves as the RRDN Community Setting Lead for Yorkshire and Humber at the NIHR Research Delivery Network since March 2025. With a robust background in podiatry, Dr. Halstead-Rastrick has held multiple positions at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, including Clinical Lead for Research, Clinical Head of Service Podiatry, and Advanced Podiatrist in Adult Biomechanics Service since October 2017. Additionally, a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Leeds since September 2008, contributions include work with the foot and ankle research group and roles as a Rheumatology Research Podiatrist at various healthcare institutions. Previous experience includes being a Principal Podiatrist at Salford Royal Foundation Trust and a Musculoskeletal Podiatrist at The Good Health Centre. Dr. Halstead-Rastrick holds a PhD from the University of Leeds, focusing on the modification of bone stress with functional foot orthoses, alongside various master's modules and degrees in health research, injection therapy, and sport and exercise science.
