Jim Zhong is a CRUK Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Leeds since September 2020 and holds active roles in various professional committees, including the Interventional Radiology Committee at The Royal College of Radiologists and the BSIR Trainee Committee at the British Society of Interventional Radiology. With a background as a Radiology Resident at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and significant involvement in the Young Professionals and Trainees Committee at The British Institute of Radiology, Jim has a diverse experience in medical training and research. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Anatomy from the University of Leeds, complemented by research experience at Columbia University Medical Center. Notably, contributions to the British Society of Interventional Radiology included designing posters for conferences and publishing work in the student BMJ.
