Laura Pearson

Laura Pearson is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Professional Development Tutor in the International Business Department at the University of Leeds since July 2022. Previously, Laura held the position of Employer and Placement Services Consultant at the University of Bradford, focusing on developing relationships with employers to enhance work-based learning opportunities for students. Laura's earlier experience includes working as an Employability Enhancement Officer at the University of Leeds, where involvement in industrial placements and study abroad programs contributed to student success. With roles as Programme Coordinator for initiatives promoting healthy eating among children, and as a Customer Assistant at Tesco PLC, Laura has demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills across diverse educational and commercial settings. Laura holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Food from Leeds Trinity University and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Academic Practice at the University of Leeds.
